QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR HYGIENE MEASURES

All rooms are limited to a maximum number of people. This ensures that each participant is assigned a separate table. There is a distance of at least 1.5 meters between tables. The rooms are also regularly ventilated by our employees. Contact surfaces are cleaned daily by our cleaning staff.

Since there is a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between participants’ tables, it is not necessary to wear a mask. If the minimum distance cannot be maintained in hallways, a mask must be worn. We have a sufficient amount of disinfectant and mouth-nose masks available for you.

We ask that you observe proper hand hygiene and refrain from shaking hands. Please practice proper sneezing and coughing etiquette. Please inform us immediately if you are experiencing any signs of illness.

Pastries, fruit and cutlery are individually packed in paper bags and napkins. Lunch will be provided by a catering service. The meals are packed individually. At this time, lunch can only be served in the seminar room.

Covid-19 information

We’re looking forward to seeing you again in person at our seminars as of September 2021. The following conditions currently apply for participation on site as per the Corona regulation valid as of August 16, 2021:

  • Admission is permitted to those who have been immunized, have recovered, or been vaccinated (please present proof)
  • Admission for those who have not been immunized is only possible with a test result taken no later than a maximum of 24 hours (antigen quick test) and a maximum of 48 hours (PCR test) prior to the seminar
  • A mask requirement (medical mask, FFP2 or FFP3) applies for everyone on the premises
  • The standard hygiene rules of course also apply

If we are forced to switch to online mode again due to a rise in the Corona incidence level, we will inform all participants in due time.

QUESTIONS ABOUT SEMINAR OFFERINGS

Yes, we also offer an inhouse variant of these seminars and we design trainings custom-tailored to your needs. More information regarding our funding programs.

For seminars and BestPractice tours, you will be charged for the respective registration fee after your participation only. The invoice will be send to you by mail. Exception: for congresses and training as Certified Lean Leader, you will receive your invoice in the mail after your registration is received. Payment is handled via bank transfer.

You can cancel your registration free of charge up to 14 days in advance to the event. In case of cancellation at a later point in time, the full event fee will be charged. If at the time of the event you are unable to attend, e.g. due to illness, you can name a replacement participant at any time. For detailed information, see our GTCs.

There is no regular registration deadline for our events. However, we recommend booking early since events are generally fully booked 3 – 6 weeks in advance.

QUESTIONS ABOUT PRICES, SUBSIDIES AND DISCOUNTS

With simultaneous registration of several people (“collective order”), you will receive a 20% discount on the regular participation fee for this person (third participant) and every additional participant. For Lean Expert and train-the-trainer sessions, we grant a special discount: with simultaneous booking of several stages (“complete booking”), you will receive a 5% discount on the booking of stages 1 + 2 and a 10% discount on the booking of stages 1 + 2 + 3. Please note that these discounts may not be combined.

Staufen AG is an approved training provider that receives subsidies from the European Social Funds of the European Union (ESF). Therefore, it is possible to receive subsidies and grants for selected specialized courses. To get an overview of our specialized courses and the requirements for subsidies, click here. In addition, there are other state subsidy opportunities with which you can secure federal or regional grants for your further training – e.g. training time, WeGebAU or fee credits to put toward training fees.

In addition to the event documentation (printed or digital) and the event itself, the participation fee includes beverages, catering in the coffee breaks, and lunch. Travel costs, dinner, and hotel accommodations are not included in the price. VAT is charged in addition to the participation fee.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE LEAN EXPERT TRAINING:

Basically, yes. However, you can only claim the “Lean Expert“, “Lean Trainer Staufen” and “PTW” certificates if you have attended all event modules and successfully passed the final examination. This examination is taken on the last event day of module 2 or 3. Regardless, you will receive a participation certificate after each module. Please note that if you start with stage 2, certified basic Lean knowledge is assumed and proof must be provided to the event management. You can only register for stage 3 after successful, certified passing of stages 1 + 2.

We recommend participating in stages 1 + 2 within one year. However, if you wish, these two stages can be completed more quickly. At the latest after completion of stage 2, the Lean Experts should implement what they have learned in the course of their own internal workshops and projects. This practical application is essential for the transformation of your company, even if it is not an official component of the program. Therefore, we recommend leaving a period of at least 6 months between stages 2 and 3 in order to be able to implement what you have learned in practice. Our trainers will be glad to help you formulate and conduct your workshop, especially in the role of the coach.

Within 14 days after completion of your training (for stages 2 and 3), you will receive confirmation if you have passed your final examination. Then your certificate will be sent by mail to the invoice address you have specified. Please be sure to tell us if your address changes.
